About Us
At Kiwi Motorcycle Rentals, we’re passionate about two things: motorcycles and the people who ride them. Whether you’re here to explore New Zealand’s famous coastal highways or its remote alpine backroads, we’re here to make your journey unforgettable.
Who We Are
We’re a family-owned and operated business based in Christchurch, just minutes from both the airport and city centre. Our team lives and breathes motorcycles, and we pride ourselves on offering a personalised approach, matching you with the right bike, the right route, and the right advice for your adventure.
Our Story
The business began in 2007 as City Motorcycle Rentals, later becoming Kiwi Motorcycle Rentals in 2014 to better reflect our New Zealand focus. Over the years, we grew to become one of the country’s leading rental providers with a reputation for quality bikes and exceptional service. Like many in tourism, we hit pause during 2020, but in 2021 we returned under new ownership, with the same dedication to great customer experiences and an even stronger focus on adventure. Today, we operate from our modern Christchurch workshop, alongside our sister company Ultimate Adventure Moto NZ, which offers fully guided off-road tours. Together, we cover everything from self-guided road trips to bucket-list off-road adventures.
