Kiwi Motorcycle Rentals are passionate about motorcycles and the people that ride them - no matter what you ride! New Zealand's mild climate means you can ride from September until the end of May comfortably. Generally the most settled weather is during February, March & April.
Brief History - City Motorcycle Rentals was started in 2007 based in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2014 the business changed its name to Kiwi Motorcycle Rentals as this better reflected the business direction and strategy. Over the years the business thrived with great people and excellent customer service to become one of New Zealand's leading motorcycle rental companies with a fleet of 55 motorcycles. In 2020 life around the world changed, with international borders closed and tourism halted, Kiwi Motorcycle Rentals downsized and had to be put on hold. 2021 saw a change of ownership and a move back to Christchurch city, with the aim to rebuild and grow again with the same great customer service.
We are now located in a new shop and workshop very close to Christchurch International Airport. We are co-located with our sister company Ultimate Adventure Moto which provides the tours and retail side of the business.

Just as important as making sure you see the right sights; is making sure that your adventure is not spoilt by mechanical problems! Regular servicing and safety checks are made immediately prior to your hire. Full servicing is carried out in our winter months, every motorbike in the Kiwi Motorcycle Rental fleet is stripped down, lubed, bolts tightened and the engine is checked and set.
Your motorcycle will be presented to you clean and in perfect working condition. However for added peace-of-mind, all rentals include AA mechanical breakdown Roadside Assistance 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
